"El arrodillo de su brazo"

Sister Moody and I are twins. ;)
Welp, I'm an idiot. That's what I learned this week. When I don't know how to say things in Spanish, I make it up. And this is what happens when Sister Moody asks me how you say elbow in Spanish. I reply with "the knee of your arm." Asi es mi vida. At least people think I'm funny.

This week was actually really great. :)

Do y'all remember a few weeks back when I talked about Salvador? Well. I'm just going to talk about him again, because he is the greatest person EVER.

Salvador is AMAZING. He came to church again yesterday. He liked it so much more than last week, because we actually had Spanish sacrament meeting this time. :) He liked it and he already knows basically all of the Hispanic members. So, it was awesome. Built-in-fellowship. :) And we had two lessons with him this week.

On Friday we talked with him a lot about baptism. He told us that he knows what we're saying is true, but he was really confused about the restoration of the priesthood. So it was a really awesome lesson where we could find out his concern.

Yesterday we talked about the restoration of the priesthood and it made a lot more sense to him. He still doesn't feel quite ready to get baptized. But he's reading the Book of Mormon almost every day and praying. He's doing really, really well.

On Saturday we dropped by because we needed to give him his spoons back. Because he always gives us food. So we stopped by to give him his spoons back, and he told us he wasn't feeling very well and probably wouldn't be able to come to church. So we told him we would pray for him. And then I gave him some dried mango that I had in the car. Because we were asking if there was anything we could do for him and we started listing off all of these things that we could do or get for him. So we ran back to the car to get him mango. Then we texted him on Sunday morning to see how he was feeling. He told us that he was feeling a lot better, that he felt a lot better when he saw us last night and with the mango we gave him. He said, "I think Jesus sent you to me." :) Someone recognizes the hand of God in their life. :)
Meeker South Zone #ugly
Anyway, life is good. I hope you're all having a great week. Remember that I love and miss you all so much!

Con amor,
Hermana Sherilyn Harper

p.s. Please pray for Salvador that he can receive his answers and be baptized on July 26th! :)
