"Tal vez tomamos un poco de cerveza....que mal es?"

That awkward moment. There's a really long story behind that one, but I don't feel like getting into it right now... Hahaha.

This week was fine.

We had a super awesome Sisters Conference on Tuesday. It was definitely the best Sisters Conference of my mission. And if you know anything about me, you probably know how much I detest Sisters Conferences. So for me to say that it was great, that's a super good thing. The Sister Training Leaders read us part of the Ricciardi Letter, a part about a prayer room. So we all got to go into a room and say a personal prayer. It was awesome. Super spiritual experience. I loved it.

This is the last week of the transfer, and one of us is definitely being transferred. We don't know who yet. SO if you have mail to send to me, please send it to the mission office!

And I'll let you know what happens next week. :)

This week, we're going on exchanges. I get to go back to Eagle! :) I'm not actually sure how I feel about it. But, it'll be good I think!

It's so weird that it's already the last week of the transfer. SO stinkin' weird. After this one, I only have 4 left. Because I hit my stinkin' year mark on Thursday. I only have 6 months left! CRAZY.

The Atonement is real. And we can only become strong from our weaknesses if we apply the atonement into our lives.

Love and miss you all!

TWO MORE WEEKS! ;)

Well, friends and family. The whole "two more weeks" thing is a joke that the lovely Hermana Salazar and I have with each other. Because one of us is for sure being transferred in two weeks! Which is such a bummer, because we love each other so much. But it's for the best that we're separated. We love each other too much, and have too much fun. So it's good!

This week was crazy. They all are, though, aren't they?

On Tuesday, we had exchanges. I went to Steamboat with Hna Bittle. When we were about 20 minutes away from Steamboat, we got a call from Hna Salazar, asking me if I had the keys for the car in Glenwood. Well friends, I'm an idiot! I took the keys with me to Steamboat! But it all worked out. The other sisters from Eagle just ended up staying with them. So there were four sisters in the area. It all worked out the way it was supposed to, I think.

We found the most amazing person in the world while we were knocking doors on Saturday. His name is Eleazar. He's from El Salvador. He is so prepared that we taught him the Word of Wisdom in the first few minutes we knew him! (Because he had a question as to why we don't drink coffee.) And then we transitioned into the Restoration. It was amazing. We're looking forward to getting to know him better and working with him! He's fabulous. And he has the cutest 5 year old son in the world!

We've been trying really hard to get in contact with Blanca. But her phone is STILL off. That's like a week and a half now. And we don't have her address. So, not really sure what we're doing there. Just keep on calling her every day until one day the phone is back on I guess.

Things are good, my friends!

Love and miss you all!

"That puts a damper on my day."

Lindsey's response when she learned that John the Baptist was beheaded. We have fabulous dinner conversations with the Larsens.

Well friends, this week was a good one!

One thing I learned: You shouldn't drink cantaloupe juice. Unless you want the rest of your night to be ruined and you want to feel like DEATH. Don't do it. Not worth it.

Other thing I'm learning: You should just make the best of all of your situations. Because other wise you're just going to be miserable. So be happy! God knows exactly what we need to become the people He wants us to be!

I love and miss you all!

"Prozac is for heart burn, right?"

Well friends and family,

This week was crazy. But it was the good kind of crazy. :)

Hermana Salazar and I are slowly getting used to Glenwood Springs. We still don't have too many investigators. The one super solid investigator that the other sisters had, Blanca, is starting to ignore us. And that breaks my dang heart!

We've been doing a lot of work with less-actives though, which I love. We've been forming such awesome relationships with them. And 6 of them came to church this Sunday!
-Nola and Jazi
-Ana and Carlos
-The Hurtados

I've been getting TONS of compliments on my Spanish lately, which is basically the happiest thing of my life! :) There's this one family that thought I was from Argentina. (Promise that they meant it in a complimenting way.)

I went to the doctor on Thursday, to see if anything was wrong with me because I've passed out twice. Guess what? NOTHING IS WRONG WITH ME! So it was a waste of time. And money. But it made our mission nurse happy. So there's that! Also that's where the quote comes from, about prozac. Because sometimes nurses say REALLY stupid things, haha.

We had a zone meeting on Saturday, so I got to be reunited with my favorite people! Hermana Bauer, Elder Bang, Elder LeCheminant, Hermana Bittle, and of course my latest companion Hermana Moody. So that was great. :) It was a super good zone meeting, actually. Learned a lot. Felt super inspired. Plus we ate really great pizza afterwards. And I got to meet ALEJANDRO! Hermana Salazar's investigator from Silt! He's awesome! :)

Hermana Salazar and I are getting along entirely too well. It's a problem. But not really. Because we have SO MUCH FUN! :) And we are literally the most adorable companionship EVER!
Hope you all have a great week.
Know that I love and miss you.

Sometimes we act like children :)

Because I was reunited with my two best friends! :) Elder Bang and Elder LeCheminant!

Dearest Friends and Family,

I am in Glenwood Springs. Which is in the same district I was in last transfer. Which is literally 30 minutes away from my last area. I'm whitewashing. And I'm struggling a lot.

BUT.

My new companion is fabulous. She's making things super fun for me, which I appreciate immensely. She's hilarious. :) It's Sister Salazar, by the way. She's from California. She's brown. And perfect. I LOVE HER.

The other day we tracted, literally all day. And to reward ourselves at the end of it, we sat on some swings for a few minutes. And we took the most adorable companion picture ever. So there's that. :)
Because my new companion and I are adorable. :)

I feel like I don't have much to tell you, because I literally have no idea what I'm doing here. Like. At all. But I'm excited to be here. Finally not exiled anymore. ;) But all is well, because the members here are fabulous. And some of them let me play their guitars. :)

I hope you all have a fabulous week.

Con amor,
Hermana Sherilyn Harper
