"First the moon was over there...now it's over here. What is it DOING? Ohhh. It's going home!"

My companion is deep, guys. The moon was just going home! It's all good, don't worrry!
This week has been good!
Hermana Chavez and I bought MATCHING PAJAMAS this week. They're pretty much the dang coolest things of my life. :) I'll send y'all a picture! (Next week because Hna Chavez left her memory card at home...)
Pretty much, the best part of the week was Friday Night! We had a "Fiesta Hispana" and there was SUCH a great turn out! Tons of members and non-members alike! There was lots of great Hispanic food as well, in case you were wondering. Hermana Chavez and I participated in a dance our branch did, "la polka". It was pretty much the most fun night of my life. :) I loved it!
On Saturday night, there was Women's Conference. President Uchtdorf gave pretty much the best talk ever. I dang loved it. If you haven't watched it yet: GO WATCH IT!
This coming weekend we have General Conference coming up! :) I'm SUPER excited for the opportunity we have to listen to the prophet! I'm so grateful to know that we have a living prophet here on the Earth, to lead us and guide us. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints really is the true church of Jesus Christ on the Earth today. That Jesus Christ is the head of this church and that the prophet and his apostles are the mouthpiece! I hope you all prepare for Conference this coming weekend by thinking of questions that you would like to have answered! Do lots of praying!
I love and miss you all!

"When you get married, your wife becomes your homie." -Jose

 Colorado is the prettiest. <3

Sorry that I didn't have the opportunity to send a group email last week. We went jeeping with the greatest host family EVER! We jeeped over a mountain pass, ended up in Telluride to eat pizza, and then drove back on the highway. It was probably the best p-day of my mission! :)
Basically, you should just all know that I am ridiculously happy here in Montrose! I absolutely love it here! We're working with some amazing people!
Jose (an investigator) was going to get baptized this weekend. But after his interview, it came out that he doesn't really have a testimony of Joseph Smith or the Book of Mormon. So he's going to wait a little bit and keep working with us to gain that testimony. He's got a new date for October 10, so we're just going to keep working with him and helping him find that testimony! We had a really great lesson with him the day after his interview where he told us a ton of his concerns and we were able to answer his questions! It was so great. So hopefully the lessons continue going like that!
A new part member family, the Rodriguez family, moved into the Branch this week! The parents aren't members, but they have such strong testimonies and are going to be baptized soon! They just have a few things they need to work through. (like marriage. Always.) But they're great. Such a fabulous addition to the San Juan Branch! :)
Hermana Chavez and I get along really well. I'm not really sure how, but it works, Hahahaha. :) She's really quiet. I'm the loud companion now. SUPER weird after being with Hna Salazar for 6 weeks, haha. But we're getting along really well. She thinks that she'll be the companion to finally break my new-companion-ever-transfer streak. A ver! I wouldn't mind it one bit, because she sure helps me out with  my Spanish. Hahaha. :)
Know that I love and miss you all!
Keep on keepin' on.
